The R18 e-tron quattro is Audi's Le Mans prototype racing car powered by a 3.7 litre V6 turbocharged diesel engine. It incorporated a hybrid system generating electricity to drive the front wheels with two electric motors. Hence earning the four wheel drive Audi the "quattro" designation.
